Forrest Murrell Blue, Jr.
Sept 7, 1944 - July 16th, 2011
was an offensive lineman who played eleven seasons
in the NFL with the San Francisco 49ers and the Baltimore Colts.
Selected 15th overall in the 1968 draft by the
San Francisco 49ers out of Auburn University, Blue helped
the team win three straight division titles, and was
named an All-Pro four times.
Blue died at an assisted living facility in Carmichael, Calif.
of chronic traumatic encephalopathy.
