Hi Donna,

Have visited the website and it's fabulous!! Thanks for taking this on.

I have to admit, I did shed a tear or two at the tribute with the Alma
Mater. If Im not mistaken, Jack Crew or Dick Bowles said that - either at
his funeral or the installation. Not sure.

It helps me make sense of his "tragedy" to see so many touched by his
Spirit. He taught us ALL to not "just play the notes, but play musically"
in Life. He instilled in us a sense of pride and ownership, and a desire to
excel in whatever we do. He nurtured such a bond among our "clan" - caring
for and about each other. It went beyond "playing music in a class" We
didn't have to major in Music to carry on his "work" and his blessing.
Isn't it amazing that, in addition to making beautiful music, we created
such an "extended family", and we have perpetuated his principles. He would
be so proud. I can only hope he realized how much everyone cared for him -
I think he KNEW it, just not sure he believed it, or felt he was worthy of
it. I heard recently that Jack Benny, when receiving an award, said "I
don't think I DESERVE it, but I have arthritis, and I don't DESERVE that
either!" I can hear Daddy saying that, can't you?

Thanks again for keeping these memories alive and well. I look forward to
visiting this site often.

Love
Bebe
