In 1956, the first year CHS opened it's doors, a contest was held. Our Alma Mater was in need of lyrics. Now we know that Carolyn Beverly-Shearouse '58, claimed this honor. As author, she helped many of us throughout the years. By committing this to memory, we fondly recall our youth and "Alma Mater" Thank you so much.

Before now the following poem had not been shared with many.
In the mid-70's it was written by Mark A. Buckley 1945-1979. Drum Major for CHS 1963. Enjoy! It has always been special to our family.

The AlmaMater still raises the goosebumps, whether or not we could still match the 8-to-5 our dear "Mr. P" expected from us.

I've had a request to begin "LOST" sections for various years. This is a great idea. The first will be the charter classes (soon to come). I will need a contact from specific years to relay the information. A data base is not maintained other than that for the'63 reunion committee. The website for email connections is IT !
REUNIONS
A number of requests have been made about having
a section for upcoming reunions. This is a
terrific idea and if you'll furnish your knowledge,
I'll be glad to keep a section going.

Reunion Committees, please let me know.

The Class of 1983 will be holding our 25th Reunion
at the Tradewinds on St. Pete Beach. The room rate
for the Standard Parlor/Hotel Room is $155.00, per room,
as available. Friday night is informal by the pool bar while
Saturday night is full dinner and dancing. More details to
