These deaths were in Escambia Co.
but burial took place in Santa Rosa County.
"RUSHING CEMETERY" Recently, HELP and/or advice was requested by Doris Buffum. There may be one or more of you out there with experience in "fighting the system". Ancestors of the Rushing/Kersey families are buried in a small cemetery listed as "RUSHING CEMETERY". SECTION 29, TOWNSHIP 2 S, RANGE 26W.
It's located in the middle of Paradise Bay Subdivision.
Family names believed to be buried at this site are:
Kersey,Soles,Dykes,Rushing,Martin,Lee,Turner and Renfroe.
It took years, dedication, mountains of work and $$$ to have the Robinson Point Cemetery rescued.
